The biographical drama is reportedly titled 'Amri' and the filmmaker plans to rope in Naseeruddin Shah, Vicky Kaushal, and Jim Sarbh to play the key roles, reports Peepingmoon. Naseeruddin Shah and Jim Sarbh are on board while Vicky is reportedly still working out his calendar to accommodate Mira Nair's project. This period drama promises to paint the illustrious life of Amrita Sher-Gil, from her artistic contributions to her tragic demise and much more. 'Amri' is reportedly titled after her nickname and is scheduled to go on floors in September this year. Mira Nair is planning to release the film in mid-2024.
