Outspoken "Black Widow" star Scarlett Johansson continues to have her franchise character's back. After years of anticipation, Marvel's leading lady joined her Avengers counterparts and finally starred in her own stand-alone film. Leading up to the July 9 premiere of "Black Widow," Johansson, 36, caused a bit of a stir when asked about the evolution of her character, Natasha Romanoff — also known as the titular comic book hero. By Submitted Story on June 27, 2021 Charlotte Ross, age 68, of Nags Head, NC passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 24, 2021 surrounded by her family. Charlotte lost a long and courageous battle with cancer, which she faced with determination, dignity and strength every day. Charlotte is survived by her husband, Rob Ross, of Nags Head, NC, and her daughter, Lauren Peeples, who resides in Upper Arlington, OH with her husband, Andrew Peeples and two beloved grandchildren, Henry (4) and Emily (2). Charlotte is also survived by her sister, Linda Stradtman of Avondale, PA, her brother, Chuck Pelic of Cedar Rapids, IA and her father, Charles Pelic of Kill Devil Hills, NC. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Pelic. Charlotte was born in Ambridge, PA and grew up in the Pittsburgh area.
