Paramount Players has rounded out the cast for horror Something's Wrong with Rose . Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner and Kal Penn will join the previously announced Mare of Easttown actress Sosie Bacon. Rob Morgan, Judy Reyes, Caitlin Stasey and Gillian Zinser will also star in the movie from writer-director Parker Finn. Bacon will play a psychiatrist who, after a bizarre and traumatic event involving a patient, begins to experience terrifying occurrences that only she can see, and grows increasingly convinced that she's being pursued by a malevolent supernatural force. The movie, which is based on Parker's SXSW award-winning short film Laura Hasn't Slept, will be produced by Temple Hill. Sir Derek Jacobi will play George Bernard Shaw in a new film. The 83-year old actor will be joined by Dame Eileen Atkins – who will star as the playwright's wife and key collaborator Charlotte – in the movie 'Mr Shaw Goes To Hollywood', which charts the couple's journey to Los Angeles as they hoped to sell the screen rights to his play 'Pygmalion'. Shaw thought he had landed in a strange world and fled Hollywood in horror. He ended making the film several years later in England – as it featured British stars including Leslie Howard and Wendy Hiller. Following Shaw's death in 1950, Warner Bros. adapted the play into the musical film 'My Fair Lady', which was released in 1964. Simon Callow has been tapped to direct the project that is based on Mark Saltzman's play that imagines the difficulties that Shaw and his wife endured when they travelled to the US in 1933 and met MGM studio titan Louis B. EXCLUSIVE : Prime Video has set its first scripted Canadian Amazon Original series, The Lake . Jordan Gavaris ( Orphan Black ), Julia Stiles ( Hustlers, The Bourne Identity ) and Madison Shamoun ( #blackAF, Black-ish ) star in the half-hour comedy, produced by Amaze ( Carter ).
