Emmanuel Lewis AKA Webster from 'Webster' Looks Unrecognizable Dancing to His Favorite Group in New Videos - AmoMama
American actor Emmanuel Lewis showed his love for his favorite hip-hop group Goodie Mob in videos he shared on Instagram, showing as he grooved to their songs during a concert.
Emmanuel Lewis is best known for portraying the character Webster in the 1980s television sitcom "Webster." Before nabbing the role, he starred in several television commercials.
Besides acting, Lewis loves music and is known as a singer in Japan, where he has released two singles. However, Lewis does not just make music but also vibes to it, as he showed in recent posts on his Instagram page.

In the videos, Lewis showed his love for his favorite hip-hop group, Goodie Mob. The Atlanta-based group held a concert, and Lewis was live in attendance.
In one video from the concert, the actor showed off his dancing skills as he vibed along to the lyrics of one of the group's songs playing on stage. He wore a sky blue shirt and floral hat. He also wore transparent glasses.
Lewis looked good and excited as he waited patiently for the group's arrival. At one point in the video, he temporarily removed his hat to show off his lovely haircut. In the post's caption, he wrote:
"East Point Wednesday Wind Down Goodie Mob @goodiemob Boy it was hot as fish grease but that's why it's called #Hotlanta "luv to luv to luv ya."
Lewis shared two more videos showing moments from Goodie Mob's magical performance on the stage. Group members T-Mo, Big Gipp, Ceelo Green, and Khujo thrilled the crowd as they performed some of their biggest hits.
The excited Lewis enjoyed every moment of his favorite group's performance as he nodded his head and danced to the hits. The crowd was also excited as they enjoyed every moment of the concert.
Lewis' career may not have reached the heights he would have loved due to circumstances beyond his control.
Lewis' fans were pleased to see him in good spirits at the music concert and left him many compliments in the posts' comment sections. They love him so much because of how he thrilled them with his performances on "Webster."
In 1983, a 12-year-old Lewis made his classic first appearance on "Carson Tonight Show." After starring on "Webster," he attended Clark Atlanta University, where he studied theater arts. He graduated in 1997 and returned to acting.
However, he found roles hard to come by because he had not grown or seemed to age at all and looked like a young boy. Lewis says there is no medical reason for his short stature, and he has only grown six inches since he was 12.
Since "Webster" ended, he has appeared in several television shows and films. Some of his TV appearances came in "Malcolm & Eddie," "Family Matters," "The Love Boat," "Moesha," and more. He also appeared in the first season of "The Surreal Life."
With limited roles available to him, Lewis fell upon hard times. In 2012, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that he lost his home in Fayette County to settle unpaid taxes.
Now 50, Lewis keeps busy running his own record label, Flex Floss Entertainment. He is also said to be a black belt holder in karate and a martial arts expert.
In his lifetime, Lewis has made friends with other stars. He is good friends with Marc Price, who portrayed Skippy on "Family Ties." Both men went on tour and did various promotional appearances together.
Lewis also had a close friendship with the late "King of Pop," Michael Jackson, who once carried him onstage to receive an American Music Association Awards. The pair also sat next to each other at the 1984 Grammy Awards.
In a 1984 interview, Lewis described Jackson as the best friend one could ever have. He also said the late music icon was gentle and not rough like other guys and added that he could count on him anytime while Jackson could also count on him.
Lewis's career may not have reached the heights he would have loved due to circumstances beyond his control. However, he has contributed his quota to Hollywood's success. For that, he is no doubt an icon and deserves to be happy.
