The Little Rascals': Where is the Cast Now as Movie Enters Netflix Chart - Newsweek

The Little Rascals was first released in 1994, but the movie has just had a second life on Netflix. Twenty-seven years after the film came to cinemas, the movie has hit the streamer's most-watched movie charts, with the film currently at number two in the U.S. movie charts.

Though none of the Little Rascals cast is still acting, they have gone off into some unexpected careers in fields like DJing, accountancy and professional poker.

Travis Tedford as "Spanky" McFarland

Tedford's busiest time as an actor came when he was five, when he starred in both The Little Rascals and as the first "spokeskid" of Welch's grape juice. As a child and teenager, he starred in The Amanda Show and provided voices for A Bug's Life and Recess, but he retired from acting in 2010.

As per his Instagram page, he is now works in marketing. On his Instagram bio, he says of his time as a child star, "didn't develop drug addiction and as a result: Not famous."

Bug Hall as "Alfalfa" Switzer

After starring in the movie at the age of nine, Hall starred in a number of Disney productions like Get a Clue and Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves. As an adult, he starred in movies like American Pie Presents: The Book of Love and Atlas Shrugged: Part II, as well as cameoing in a 2014 Little Rascals movie. He has also starred in episodes of shows like CSI, Charmed and Criminal Minds.

In 2020, he hit headlines after being arrested after he was seen huffing an air duster. In response to this, he released a lengthy YouTube video in which he spoke about sexual abuse he had been a victim of as a child actor.

Brittany Ashton Holmes as Darla

After a few roles in the follow-up to The Little Rascals, including an advert for McDonalds, Holmes did not appear in another film until 2014, when she starred in TV movie, We Hate Paul Revere. Now in her 30s, she lives in Los Angeles after quitting acting to go to high school and college.

Kevin Jamal Woods as "Stymie"

Woods' Little Rascals role led to a recurring role on Blossom and a voice role on Babe. His last acting role was in 2000. After The Little Rascals, he went to school to study audio engineering, and now works in marketing research in Texas.

Jordan Warkol as "Froggy"

Warkol was in demand as a child actor, providing voices for Hey Arnold and Rocket Power and starring in The X Files, Baywatch and Walker, Texas Ranger. He now works as a professional poker player.

Zachary Mabry as "Porky"

One of the youngest Little Rascals, Mabry was just three when he started making the film. The film was his only acting role, and the actor was until 2019 an accountant for American Airlines. He is now contributing editor at the Catholic Herald newspaper and host of the Catholic-themed Roman Circus podcast.

Ross Bagley as "Buckwheat"

After The Little Rascals, Ross Bagley appeared in 50 episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air across its fifth and sixth seasons. He then re-appeared alongside Will Smith in Independence Day. His last acting role so far was in 2015, though he did appear last year in the HBO Max Fresh Prince reunion. His non-acting jobs have included consulting, working as a real estate agent and DJing as part of the duo LA Faders.

Sam Saletta as "Butch"

After the 1994 movie, Saletta appeared in films like Henry II: Portrait of a Serial Killer and TV shows The Kids from Room 402 and 7th Heaven. He has also done voice work on Recess, Rocket Power and, most recently, the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops.

He was later a member of the LA band Jubala before performing as a solo singer/songwriter.

The Little Rascals is streaming now on Netflix.
