Ryan Reynolds' net worth
Ryan Reynolds is a Canadian-born actor who has an estimated net worth of $150 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. He got his start as a teen soap opera star but is now known for his action and comedy roles in films such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder (2002), The Proposal (2009), and Deadpool (2016).
Ryan has always been an actor and this has been his main source of income since the early 90s when he bagged his first major role in The Odyssey as Macro. From here he began to accumulate more roles like In Cold Blood (1996) and co-starred with Melissa Joan Hart in the TV movie Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996).
From here his career soared and he began to bag the big blockbuster roles that shot him into the limelight where he quickly became one of Hollywood's favourite actors.
How much did Ryan make from Deadpool?
Ryan had a base salary of just $2 million for Deadpool, which when compared to how much they made from it, doesn't seem like a lot. His pay ended up reading almost ten fold as the first Deadpool cost $58 million to make, and went on to gross $780 million.
In 2017 he earned enough money – roughly $22 million, to be one of the 20 highest-paid actors on the planet that year.
His earnings for the second Deadpool have not been confirmed but with it earning over $785 million globally it's safe to say Reynolds was looking at a cut of at least $30 to $40 million.
Ryan has shares in Aviation Gin and a football club
Ryan also has investments in companies like aviation Gin. In February 2018, Reynolds acquired an "unspecified minority" ownership stake in the company for an undisclosed sum. He also serves as the brand's spokesman and creative director.
Ryan will most likely make a pretty penny from this investment too as since he started doing ads for the brand including a very notable video involving the "Peloton girl", Aviation's sales grew from 2018 to 2020 so much so that they became the second-largest super-premium Gin brand in the US.
In 2020, Ryan and fellow actor Rob McElhenney teamed up to buy Welsh football club Wrexham AFC. He's made a number of appearances at marches since then and has left fans delighted by posing for selfies with them in the ground.
