The newest episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is now streaming on Disney Plus, and it didn't take long for Ghostbusters fans to recognize a familiar voice, with Ernie Hudson guest starring as Grini Millegi.

In the episode entitled "Faster," the clones of the Bad Batch enter the competitive and dangerous world of Riot Racing, with Millegi, a Dowutin male gangster, overseeing the league, making an unlikely deal with our heroes.

Hudson, best known as Winston Zeddemore within the Ghostbusters film series, has been on a bit of a hot streak, starring in NBC's Quantum Leap and BET's The Family Business, with season five of the Carl Weber drama expected to air later this year.

On a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Hudson confirmed his return in this year's upcoming Ghostbusters sequel. Codenamed Firehouse, the character of Winston Zeddemore is expected to provide the financial backing as the Ghostbusters set up shop again within New York City, continuing the story of 2020's Jason Reitman-directed Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

"There will be another Ghostbusters that I can definitely say. Thanks to all the fans. They loved [Ghostbusters: Afterlife], so we'll be making another Ghostbusters," with Hudson adding, "And I'm happy to say that Winston, the character that I play, is now a billionaire, so he has a little bit more freedom."

Special thanks to Ghostbusters News reader Miguel Medina for the heads up on today's news regarding Hudson's introductory role in the Star Wars universe.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is now streaming exclusively on Disney Plus, with a new episode released every Wednesday.
