In a thrilling development for fans of YRF's espionage films, buzz is that the Spy Universe is set to expand with an exciting film featuring Bollywood's biggest stars.
Amidst rumours of Aamir Khan joining the spy franchise in an upcoming film, new reports also state that John Abraham, who played the character Jim in 'Pathaan', may soon lead a prequel of his own.The star, who first made his appearance as the character Jim in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's 2023 blockbuster, is rumoured to be getting his stand-alone high-octane action film.

The film is the brainchild of none other than Aditya Chopra. According to reports by Times Now, the prequel is officially in the pipeline. The upcoming film is set to delve into the backstory of the enigmatic character Jim, shedding light on his evolution from a formidable spy to a supervillain.

Furthermore, there is speculation that Hrithik Roshan's Kabir from 'WAR' may also make a special appearance, creating a sense of anticipation and excitement among fans of the spy thriller.
Director Siddharth Anand, previously opened up about the possibility of a prequel. He explained, "It should be, but it's too early to talk about anything. I feel Jim's character does warrant a prequel."

Meanwhile, Salman Khan

, in an exclusive interview with Zoom, lauded the YRF Spy Universe as a "good initiative," highlighting its potential to bring multiple heroes together on-screen. Reflecting on his own experiences, Salman shared that there were times when he would join Sunny Deol or Sanjay Dutt in movies.
The Bollywood superstar also hinted at the possibility of Aamir Khan joining the Spy Universe, stating, "if Aamir gets to do a spy-verse, he will also join in."

Meanwhile as far as the spy universe is concerned, 'WAR 2' and 'Tiger vs Pathaan' are already in the works. While the WAR sequel will see Hrithik locking horns with JR NTR, Tiger vs Pathaan will see Salman and SRK clashing in an onscreen battle unlike anything we've seen before.
