Celebrity Eclipse

Celebrity Cruises today confirmed the return of the Celebrity Eclipse t Australia and New Zealand for the 2022-2023 season with a series of five- to 18-night itineraries.

From September 2022 through April 2023 with departures from both Sydney and Auckland, the 19 different itineraries will also feature new themed experiences such as Sun and Beach Escapes, Food and Wine Classics, and Five Star Getaways.

Other highlights include an overnight call in Cairns with the option to sleep under the stars on a private pontoon floating above the Great Barrier Reef and an Australian food and wine itinerary to Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart.   

Highlights:

  • Longer stays in port with 8 p.m. departures from such popular destinations as Melbourne, Brisbane, Christchurch, Papeete and Maui;
  • Adding the scenic Port Arthur, Tasmania, as a new port offering;
  • The return of the Auckland to Fiji voyage, departing for the first time in January;
  • Three South Pacific island itineraries with calls in Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and more;
  •  And, new transpacific sailings at the beginning and end of the season, sailing between Honolulu and Sydney.

A true innovator when it comes to their ships and offerings onboard, Celebrity Cruises recently launched a brand-new approach to cruising. It is called "Always Included."

Guests of Celebrity Cruises will not have to worry about dealing with confusing promotions, limited-time offers or add-ons, which can sometimes be complicated. Now with the "Always Included" program, they can enjoy free Wi-Fi, tips and drinks.

What's Included

Celebrity Cruises' "Always Included" lets guests enjoy a relaxed, inclusive culture onboard. The program is aimed at ensuring that everything is taken care of.

Now included are the following:

  • Unlimited Wi-Fi – guests can enjoy the free, always-on connection to the web, social media and emails.
  • Unlimited Drinks – guests can enjoy wines by the glass, sodas, beers, classic cocktails, along with specialty teas, bottled water and juices.
  • Daily Gratuities – tips are taken care of, so guests can just relax and enjoy the superior service that Celebrity's wonderful crew provides.

In addition, Celebrity is offering an option to upgrade to one of two new packages. With ELEVATE, guests have unlimited premium drinks and also get up to $200 per person in credits toward shore excursions. With INDULGE, included is everything in the ELEVATE package, plus unlimited streaming Wi-Fi and an additional $200 per person onboard credit, which can be spent on whatever the guest desires.

Guests booked in The Retreat, Celebrity's exclusive ship-within-a ship concept –all-suite accommodations, a private restaurant, lounge, sundeck and dedicated concierge staff and team of butlers – receive amenities in the INDULGE package at no additional cost.

Updates on Celebrity's New Ship

As the second ship in the Edge class, the Celebrity Apex boasts signature features such as The Retreat, an exclusive area for suite guests; the two-story Edge Villas and the Infinite Veranda rooms; and, cantilevered off the ship's side, the Magic Carpet, where guests can enjoy drinks, dining and exquisite views.

The Celebrity Apex will offer some new culinary venues that have been designed by Celebrity's Michelin-starred Chef Cornelius Gallagher. These include the Craft Social Bar, a casual bar area that offers wines on tap, draft cocktails and more than 50 craft beers served by a certified beer sommelier. Menu items include an array of contemporary comfort food, including Kobe beef sliders, crispy chicken sliders and cheese boards. Large-screen TVs will air live sporting events.

A new 3-D digital dining experience is being offered at Le Grand Bistro. The first-at-sea digitally animated menu by Le Petit Chef, which debuted on the Celebrity Edge, will now offer a new animated story on the Celebrity Apex. Guests will enjoy enhanced menu items creations by Chef Gallagher.

Also, a new dining experience is offered in Eden. And new menu items have been created for Fine Cut Steakhouse, Rooftop Garden Grill, Raw on 5, Magic Carpet and main restaurants Cosmopolitan, Cyprus, Tuscan, and Normandie.

Entertainment – What's New Onboard?

Three new stage shows will be offered in The Theatre. The Club will offer a new cabaret show, and there will be a variety of themed activities and experiences throughout the ship.

Tech enhancements in The Theatre provide technology needed for the three new stage shows. These include Rockumentary, which celebrates classic rock moments in history; Tree of Life, which takes guests on a journey of relatable life moments; and Crystalize, which pairs laser projections, lights, video content, dance, music and incredible aerial acrobatics, all tied together by the talents of a world-class violinist. The Club's new production, called Caravan, provides new takes on classic circus acts.

Celebrity Apex Itineraries

The debut of Celebrity Apex was delayed due to the pause in cruising caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The line has been working on a new schedule for the ship and has shared more of her upcoming itineraries. The Celebrity Apex is now scheduled to sail first out of Barcelona, Spain in May. Then she will offer a 9-night Caribbean cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale on November 4, 2021. After that, she will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Fort Lauderdale.

In 2022, the Celebrity Apex will sail roundtrip from Celebrity's customized Terminal 25 at Port Everglades where she will offer rotating seven-night Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises. Then from mid-November 2022 to middle of mid-April 2023, guests can enjoy visiting Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Tortola, the Bahamas and St. Kitts, or Grand Cayman, Belize and Key West.

Celebrity Cruises has announced its Caribbean lineup for the 2022-2023 season, which will involve eight ships sailing in the region.

The newest Edge Series ships, Celebrity Edge and Apex, will be joined by four ships that were recently renovated: Celebrity Equinox, Millennium, Silhouette, and Summit, as well as Celebrity Constellation and Reflection.

Celebrity Apex

The fleet's brand-new Edge Series ship will sail roundtrip from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, offering rotating seven-night eastern and western Caribbean cruises. From mid-November 2022 to mid-April 2023, the ship will visit Puerto Rico, Tortola, St. Maarten, the Bahamas, and St. Kitts and Nevis on the eastern itinerary. The western itinerary will stop at Key West, Belize, and Grand Cayman.

Celebrity Edge

The original Edge Series ship will also sail from Fort Lauderdale, offering a 10-night Ultimate Southern Caribbean itinerary that visits St. Maarten, St. Lucia, St. Johns, Barbados, and St. Kitts and Nevis. Also offered will be an 11-night Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao itinerary, and an 11-night Panama Canal and Southern Caribbean itinerary.

Celebrity Equinox

Now sailing round-trip from Fort Lauderdale for the entire 2022-2023 Caribbean season, Equinox will offer 9-night winter itineraries through destinations in the southern Caribbean, including the U.S. Virgin Islands, Antigua, Barbados, and St. Lucia.

Celebrity Millennium

For the first time, Celebrity Millennium will sail roundtrip from San Juan on three different weeklong southern Caribbean voyages. The itineraries will visit island favorites including Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Antigua, Grenada, Barbados, and Dominica.

Celebrity Silhouette

Silhouette will sail from Miami on a rotating schedule of short and long sailings. A 10-night itinerary will visit popular destinations in the eastern Caribbean, and a four-night getaway to Key West and the Bahamas will also be offered.

Celebrity Summit

Celebrity Summit will offer three different short Caribbean itineraries: four and five-night "quick escapes" to Key West and the Bahamas, Key West and Mexico, or Grand Cayman and Mexico.

Celebrity Constellation

The intimate Celebrity Constellation will sail roundtrip from Tampa, Florida on a 10-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary, and an 11-night Ultimate Caribbean and The Americas itinerary visiting Grand Cayman, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, and Mexico with some sailings including an overnight in Cartagena.

Celebrity Reflection

The award-winning Celebrity Reflection will treat passengers to two different weeklong itineraries to either Mexico, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman or the eastern Caribbean and Bahamas.
